Guess What?!

I got an email from Liz and Jackie from Illustrating Stories
(it was to me and 2 others) asking if we would like to be creative contributors to Illustrating Stories!! I don't know about the other 2 people, but I said YES!! I am so excited, I can't wait!! this is what they have in mind:

• It would start in January and last for six months (then, we'd all have a chance to re-evaluate and decide if we'd like to go for another six).
  
• During the six months, we'd give you all of our digital items in the store for free in exchange for your creative talents.
  
• You'd make two pieces a month for display in a special IS album (online).
• The two pieces:
  
• Would include at least a little bit of one of our products.
• Could be an art journal/journal page, collage, photo, layout, or some other form of an illustrated story -- it's up to you.
• Could be digital, hard-copy, or a combo of both -- it's up to you.
  
• Could be posted/submitted elsewhere, too (Hey! it's your work).
  
• We'd introduce you on IS as a member of our creative team.
• Finally, if you had a piece you wanted to write for IS, we'd consider it. If it fit with our vision for the site, we'd publish it with you as our guest poster in the "by" line.

I just think this will be a good experience for me, and I am looking forward to starting:) plus I am just honored to be ASKED!
